WIMIA – Museum for Interior Architecture
The Wiesbaden Museum for Interior Architecture (WIMIA) is the design for a museum that uses varied spaces to create a stimulating museum visit. The alternating use of light and shadow creates a rhythm in the exhibition spaces of the WIMIA that guides visitors through the exhibition.
Two staircases allow for a complete circular tour of the museum. The two axes give the building a clear structure, dividing the rooms according to their function and thus providing a good overview.
