RG17 – Office Redesign
Freelance work

For the redesign of an office building the objective was to develop a new storage concept and create more pleasant acoustics. On the upper floor, a long corridor originally divided the two halves of the building into two parts. Since only the first two passages were used, in my design a large part of the corridor is enclosed in a free-standing cube. This cube can be used as shelving from the outside, and provides additional storage space on the inside, where it allows for the continued use of the old shelving. Acoustic panels on the walls and ceiling ensure a reduced noise level in everyday working life. Architecturally, the cube connects the two halves of the building and provides a small seating area for short conversations and breaks.

On the ground floor, employees now have a break room with a kitchenette that can be closed off with sliding doors.
