For a new Pilates and massage studio in Stuttgart, the goal from the outset was to create a calm, natural and welcoming space. At its heart is a continuous piece of furniture that develops from the entrance into the room, wraps around the sanitary core and adapts its function to the different uses along the way. Built largely from untreated wood, it integrates the cloakroom and a small Pilates shop, then turns the corner into the shared tea kitchen.

A lacquered base lifts the furniture off the parquet floor, while the visible wood grain preserves the natural character of the material.
